Job Summary

The Vascular Technologist demonstrates critical thinking skills and sound judgment in the delivery of patient care. The Vascular Technologist is responsible and accountable for the provision of diagnostic testing to assigned patient population in accordance with physician’s orders, recognized technician techniques, and polices procedures, established standards, and administrative policies of the organization.

Qualifications

  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Associate Degree
  • RVT or RVS required
  • Min 1 years experience required within the acute care setting
  • Must have ultrasound experience

They must be able to take call 2 days a week after hours, and every third weekend.

An ideal candidate would have strong skill set in vascular ultrasound, that includes, Lower extremity, upper extremity, venous and arterial knowledge, dyialysis graft mapping, ABI’s, arterial kidneys, carotids, and aorta’s.

Must be able to deliver high quality patient care in a fast paced environment.
